Azerbaijan reports 144 new COVID-19 cases, 8 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 144 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 112 people recovered from the infection, and 8 people died of COVID-related health complications.

Overall, the country has reported 808,713 cases of infection, 795,222 recoveries, and 9,793 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 3,698 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 7,122,716 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 2,280 today.
