Azerbaijan reports 1,979 new COVID-19 cases on February 23

Azerbaijan confirmed 1,979 new cases, 7,198 recoveries, and 27 deaths on 23 February.

A total of 779,783 people were diagnosed with Covid-19, 749,524 recovered, and 9,307 died since the outbreak of the pandemic. The number of active cases stands 20,952, Report informs, citing the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Over the past day, Azerbaijan conducted 10,506 Covid-19 tests, bringing the total to 6,511,864.
