Azerbaijan reveals statistics on coronavirus infections

Azerbaijan has announced the statistics on the people infected with the coronavirus, Report informs, citing Koronavirusinfo.az website.

According to the statistics, 54.8% of the people was infected in Baku, 13% in Absheron, 11.7% in Aran, 6.9% in Ganja-Gazakh, 3.1% in Guba- Khachmaz, 3.9% in Sheki-Zagatala, 2.5% in Lankaran, 2.3% in Mountainous Shirvan, 1.3% in Upper Karabakh, 0.5% abroad and 0.08% in Nakhchivan.

In Baku, 14.6% of the infected people are in Binagadi, 13.5% in Khatai, 12.1% in Yasamal, 11.3% in Sabunchu.

According to statistics by age groups, 22% of the infected people was 30-39 years old, 18% - 50-59 years old, 15% - 20-29 years old, 40-49 years old, and 60-69 years, 6% - 10-19 years old, 4% - 70-79 years old, 3% - 0-3 years old and 2% - 80-year-old and over.

53% of infected people are women, while 47% are men.
