Azerbaijan confirms 865 new COVID-19 cases, 16 deaths

Azerbaijan recorded 865 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 2,044 people recovered from the infection, and 16 patients died.

Overall, the country has reported 787,367 cases of infection, 769,746 recoveries, and 9,454 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 8,167 people are receiving treatment.

Over the past day, Azerbaijan conducted 8,487 COVID-19 tests, bringing the total to 6,572,316.
