Azerbaijan confirms 1,156 new COVID-19 cases, 14 deaths

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,156 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.

Meanwhile, 1,739 people recovered from the infection, and 14 patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen.

Overall, the country has reported 607,076 cases of infection, 580,495 recoveries, and 8,137 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 18,444 people are receiving treatment.

Azerbaijan has conducted 5,706,189 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 11,848 today.
