US appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

The US Senate confirmed by voice vote the nomination of Mark W. Libby to be Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing Senate Press Gallery.
He also served as Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires of the US Mission to the European Union in Brussels.
