Uganda's Foreign Ministry proposes establishing annual youth dialogue with Azerbaijan

Uganda"s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has proposed the launch of an annual youth dialogue with Azerbaijan.

According to Report, Uganda"s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, John Mulimba, emphasized the key role of youth platforms in today"s world, noting their importance in shaping meaningful political outcomes.

Speaking today in Baku during a meeting with members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Youth Organization, Mulimba described Azerbaijan"s initiative, as chair of the NAM, to establish the Youth Organization"s headquarters as an "incredible idea."

"I would also like to put forward several proposals to expand cooperation between the youth of Uganda and Azerbaijan. Such steps can become a dynamic stimulus for strengthening our bilateral relations and create a new model of international partnership based on equality and shared values," he noted.

Among the specific initiatives proposed by the minister is the holding of an annual youth dialogue between Uganda and Azerbaijan. According to him, this would help deepen mutual understanding and cooperation within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement.
