Turkish vice-president congratulates Ilham Aliyev on YAP’s electoral victory

Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yilmaz congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the victory of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) in the parliamentary elections, Report informs.

"I heartily congratulate President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the New Azerbaijan Party, which won the elections to the Milli Majlis. We are pleased with the fact that the parliamentary elections were held in the sovereign lands of Azerbaijan, including Karabakh, for the first time in 30 years,” Yilmaz said on X expressing hope that the elections to the Milli Majlis will contribute to peace and stability in the region and will serve the welfare of the people of Azerbaijan and the entire Turkic world.
