Turkish MP: Azerbaijan's new parliament poised for greater achievements under President Aliyev's leadership

Azerbaijan's newly elected parliament will attain even greater accomplishments under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Abdulkadir Emin, the Chairman of the Executive Council of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) and a member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM), said during a press conference held on September 2 regarding the results of Azerbaijan's snap parliamentary elections, Report informs.

According to Emin, the elections took place in a peaceful environment. "We observed the presence of democracy in the parliamentary elections held in Azerbaijan. I believe that Azerbaijan's newly formed parliament, under President Ilham Aliyev's guidance, will achieve even more significant successes. We hope that the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will continue to develop further in the future," he added.
