Turkish Ambassador comments on arrest of several MPs from HDP

Baku. 7 November. REPORT.AZ/ "The process regarding arrest of Turkish MPs hasn't started recently."

Report informs, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Özoral told reporters.

He stated that immunities of 154 MPs from the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) parties have been lifted: "Some of them have testified before the prosecutor's office. Reason for arrest of the mentioned MPs is not testifying so far. Everyone is responsible before law and crime must not go unpunished."

Notably, a few days ago, a group of MPs from the People's Democratic Party (HDP) have been arrested in Turkey.
