Turkic Council welcomes return of Lachin, Zabukh & Sus to Azerbaijan

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States has issued a statement in which it welcomed the return of the city of Lachin, as well as the villages of Zabukh and Sus, to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The secretariat welcomed the return of the city of Lachin, the villages of Zabukh and Sus to Azerbaijan as a continuation of the implementation of the tripartite statement dated November 10, 2020.

"The Organization of Turkish States reaffirms its support and commitment to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of fraternal Azerbaijan and expresses its readiness to contribute to post-conflict reconstruction, rehabilitation and reintegration efforts in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

The Organization emphasizes the importance of diplomatic efforts and supports the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, which will serve peace and stability in the South Caucasus and the return of refugees to the liberated territories," the statement says.
