Tural Ganjaliyev: Azerbaijan attaches great importance to cooperation with overseas territories

Azerbaijan highly values cooperation with overseas territories, Tural Ganjaliyev, a member of the Support Group for the Corsican People in the Milli Majlis, said during a meeting with media representatives from French colonies.

Report quotes him as saying France’s continued presence in several overseas territories is a form of neo-colonialism.

"This is because France still maintains its political and economic influence over these regions. For centuries, it pursued colonial policies in Africa, Corsica, and the Caribbean, causing suffering for the people living in these territories. We must stand against France’s neo-colonial policies," he said.
