Tajikistan ambassador: Opening of direct flight to contribute to development of ties with Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan and Tajikistan enjoy warm and fraternal relations, Tajikistan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Rustam Soli said, speaking during the roundtable discussion on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between these two countries, held at the Center of Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center).

"Our countries have established relations of fraternity based on trust," the ambassador said.

He noted that the legislative framework between the countries consists of 62 documents, and 20 more documents are currently being considered.

"We are working to establish a workgroup in economic spheres," the ambassador said.

He reminded that the Tajikistan Trade House was opened in Baku on the embassy's initiative in April 2020.

"We believe that the opening of direct flight Baku-Dushanbe will also contribute to the development of trade and economic relations, and we are working on it," he added.
