Syria interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan on missing persons

Syria is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan to address the issue of missing persons, Ammar Alesah, deputy chairman of the Syrian National Commission for Missing Persons, told Report.

According to Alesah, Azerbaijan has significant experience and expertise in dealing with missing persons.

"This is our first visit to Azerbaijan, and our main priority here is to establish cooperation and coordination with your country. Azerbaijan has experience and expertise concerning missing persons. Therefore, we highly appreciate the invitation extended to Syria in this area and look forward to continuing cooperation in the future," he said.

Alesah emphasized the importance of sharing expertise and establishing closer coordination between the two countries in efforts to address cases of missing persons.
