Peace and stability in the South Caucasus is extremely important, Susan Elliott, President and CEO of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP), told Report.
Elliott made this insight while commenting on the completion of the process on the text of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
She thanked President Ilham Aliyev for his activities in this regard:
"Any process leading to the signing of an agreement between the two countries is a step in the right direction. Peace and stability in the region is extremely important. I truly thank President Ilham Aliyev for working to resolve the long-standing conflict with Armenia. I think this forum is a good example showing the Azerbaijani President's commitment to seeking solutions for peace and stability in the world."
