The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) aims to ensure security not through military means, but through diplomacy, OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu said answering journalists' questions at a joint press conference with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
According to Report, Sinirlioglu noted that the OSCE follows this concept in all areas.
"Our foundation is based on principles. The OSCE is not a military organization, it is a security organization, and we strive to ensure security through diplomatic interaction. The goal of the OSCE has always been arms control and disarmament. These principles form the basis of the organization," said Sinirlioglu.
