Baku. 28 September. REPORT.AZ/ The session of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) has kicked off in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).
Report informs that the CIS heads of state will first held a narrow meeting during which they will exchange view on interaction within CIS and then discuss the issues of chairmanship in the Commonwealth, the date and venue of the next session of the CIS Council of Heads of State.
The expanded meeting is to focus on a complex of issues, aimed at the further development of cooperation on key directions of activity of the organization.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is also attending the session.
