Serdar Cam: Turkiye always stands by Azerbaijan

The conference, which is underway in Shusha today, is of great importance as it is dedicated to the development of cultural cooperation in the post-conflict period, Turkiye's Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Serdar Cam told the opening of an international conference, 'Advancing Post-Conflict Humanitarian Agenda: Sustainable development through revitalization of cultural environment' in Shusha.

The deputy minister voiced hope that this conference would open up new prospects for the development of cooperation.

"Turkiye always stands by Azerbaijan. Though the Shusha declaration was signed only between the two countries, it can be a role model for the development of the entire region," Cam said.

According to him, the cooperation between the region's countries is of utmost importance. In this context, it is essential to establish peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia and launch the border demarcation and delimitation process.
