Samed Seyidov calls on PACE to stop pressure on Azerbaijan

"This report is not fair, and we will not accept such a document."

French Bureau of Report informs, Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) Samad Seyidov said at the winter session of the organization during the discussion of the report on political prisoners in Azerbaijan.

He urged PACE to end pressure on Azerbaijan: "We are not against cooperation and dialogue. A constructive approach demonstrated in Paris during the discussion of the report on political prisoners in Azerbaijan. But then the pressure on Azerbaijan had started. However, reforms are underway in Azerbaijan. Pardons have been issued in the country. Azerbaijan has always been open to cooperation and dialogue. But this report is not fair, and we will not accept it. "
