Said Ali Omar: Int’l co-op helps solve problems associated with decolonization

To solve the problems associated with decolonization, it is necessary to establish cooperation within various international platforms, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Comoros Said Ali Omar said at the conference “Decolonization: Women Empowerment and Development” in Baku, Report informs.
He noted that such cooperation will allow an exchange of views on all topical issues.
Ali Omar also emphasized the importance of ensuring gender equality in society to combat violation of women’s rights.
“It is important to ensure gender equality in society. As part of these efforts, it is first of all necessary to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women. Everyone must contribute to this process and support women,” he added.
