Regulation on establishment of Network of Judicial Councils of Turkic World to be signed in Baku

A regulation on the establishment of a Network of Judicial Councils of the Turkic States will be signed in Baku today, Chairman of the Supreme Court Inam Karimov said at the third meeting of the Chairmen of the Judicial Councils of the OTS countries in Baku.

Report quotes him as saying this initiative was first put forward at a meeting held in Istanbul in May 2024 and is an important step towards institutionalizing specific legal cooperation.

"I believe that with the signing of the Regulation, a legal basis for multilateral and sustainable cooperation in the judicial and legal sphere between the partner countries will be created. Within this framework, a reliable platform will be formed for the implementation of joint projects, the organization of scientific and educational programs, ethical and professional training of judges, joint legal research and continuous exchange of experience," Karimov noted.
