Recent developments in South Caucasus offering optimism - Former Romanian FM

“The recent developments in the South Caucasus are offering optimism,” the former Romanian Foreign minister Lazar Comanescu said at a panel “South Caucasus, Reconciliation, Cooperation, and Integration” within the IX Global Baku Forum, Report informs.
He recalled that the three countries of the region are members of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and contribute to this organization.
"I was much encouraged by what I have heard from President Aliyev and the Deputy Foreign Minister. I hope that Azerbaijan and Armenia will find a solution and normalize relations, " the former Foreign Minister said.
