Rabbi: Armenians have no right to talk about Holocaust

Armenians don’t know what the Holocaust is and they have no right to talk about the Holocaust, Chief Rabbi of the Mountain Jews Synagogue in Tel Aviv Shmuel Simantov said in his appeal in response to the accusations of the Armenian side against Azerbaijan, Report informs.

“They [Armenians] should not even compare what happened to the Jewish people. They call ‘Holocaust’ the paradise they live in,” the rabbi said.

He noted that after Azerbaijan returned its territories, “Armenians can live there normally, just like Azerbaijani citizens.”

At the same time, he noted that the separatists of Karabakh continue to use the Lachin road for illegal purposes, delivering weapons along it in order to try to “once again resume the war from which the peoples of Azerbaijan and Armenia suffered for 30 years”: “The Armenian side then unleashed this war.”

The rabbi stressed that the Armenians living in Karabakh refuse the assistance offered by Azerbaijan on purpose. “It is the separatists who want the people there to starve,” Simantov said. The rabbi added that they also impede the reintegration of the Armenians living in Karabakh: “They don’t want them to live like normal people. It’s their fault.”
