Plane crash victims commemorated at Azerbaijan's Permanent Mission to UNESCO

A condolence book has been opened at Azerbaijan's Permanent Mission to UNESCO following the death of Azerbaijani citizens in the AZAL passenger plane crash in Kazakhstan.

According to Report, permanent representatives and diplomats of foreign states accredited to UNESCO visited the Azerbaijani mission to express condolences and sign the book of condolences.

Among them were UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and UNESCO General Conference President Simona Miculescu.

On December 25, an Embraer aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau. There were 67 people on board the aircraft, 38 of whom died and 29 survived.
