The Pakistani ambassador to Azerbaijan has expressed hope for the soonest signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"Can this be a bridge of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia?" Bilal Hayee wrote on Twitter, adding that the representatives of the diplomatic corps are in Lachin.
"Hope there will soon be a peace treaty leading to full normalization between the two neighbors of South Caucasus," the ambassador said.
Foreign diplomats have today visited the bridge where the border checkpoint between Armenia and Azerbaijan is located.
They were informed about Armenia's recent provocations, as a result of which one serviceman of the Azerbaijani State Border Service was injured.
