Ousman Bojang: Gambia hopes to gain new experience at WUF13 in Baku

The Gambian delegation hopes to gain new experience and learn from successful urban development practices at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Governor of the West Coast Region of Gambia, Ousman Bojang, said in an interview with Report.

"I am very impressed with what I see in Azerbaijan. I am confident that all the foreign delegations who came to Azerbaijan for WUF13 will learn a lot here," he told the agency on the sidelines of WUF13.

According to Bojang, the choice of Azerbaijan as the forum's venue is timely and justified given the current global agenda.

Bojang also emphasized that WUF13 creates an important platform for exchanging experiences between countries with different levels of development and contributes to improving the urban environment.

"This is an opportunity for countries with different levels of development to exchange experiences to improve their urban environments. This is very important for us. I am impressed with what I see in Baku," the governor noted.
