Next CIS summit to be held in Bukhara in 2027

The next CIS summit under the presidency of Uzbekistan will take place in the city of Bukhara on October 8-9, 2027, CIS Secretary-General Sergey Lebedev stated today in Avaza, Report's correspondent in Turkmenistan informs.
Earlier, Lebedev stated at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State that the presidency of the Commonwealth in 2027 passes to Uzbekistan.
In 2027, Azerbaijan will co-chair the CIS alongside Uzbekistan, and in 2028 will assume the full-format presidency.
