Uzbekistan is interested in creating a separate Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan transport corridor with a single operator in the Caspian Sea, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Council, according to Report's correspondent in Tashkent.
"Serious tasks lie ahead for our transport ministers. As part of the development of the Middle Corridor, we need to accelerate the launch of a joint fleet in the Caspian Sea. We also discussed this with Ilham Heydarovich in a narrow circle. We need to speed up this process. We are also interested in creating a separate Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan corridor with a single operator in the Caspian Sea," Mirziyoyev said.
