MFA: Armenian statements on ‘ethnic cleansing’ aimed at disrupting reintegration process

The departure of Armenian residents from the territory of Azerbaijan is their voluntary and individual decision; this step has nothing to do with any forced displacement, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a meeting with Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Louis Bono, Report informs.

Bayramov noted that this was confirmed both by the prime minister of Armenia and international organizations.

The minister added that statements about “ethnic cleansing” voiced by the Armenian government are aimed at disrupting the reintegration process.
