Mexican MPs welcome steps taken by Azerbaijan in South Caucasus

The Chairman of the Mexican-Azerbaijani Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, acting in the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico, Miguel Angel Navarrete, in a congratulatory letter addressed to the Azerbaijani Embassy in this country on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, noted that over the years Azerbaijan had expanded friendship and cooperation with Latin American countries, including with Mexico.

Report informs, citing the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Mexico, that Navarrete welcomed all the efforts of the government of Azerbaijan towards the restoration work in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as ensuring the safe and peaceful return of refugees to their lands, establishing peace and stability in the region.
