Marta Blanco: Strengthening cooperation unlocks new business opportunities

Azerbaijan and Spain are strategic partners, and the Azerbaijan-Spain Business Forum in Baku aims to further enhance these ties, Marta Blanco, President of the CEOE Committee on International Relations, said during the forum.

According to Report, she emphasized that active cooperation between the official structures of both countries lays a solid foundation for business development.

"When governments engage in constructive dialogue and work on key business issues, it gives companies confidence and encourages investment," Blanco noted.

She highlighted Azerbaijan's strategic position between Europe and Asia, its stable economy, and its focus on investments in modern infrastructure and foreign trade development.

"Additionally, Azerbaijan has a young and highly skilled workforce, free trade agreements with neighboring countries, and a preferential trade agreement with Türkiye," she added.

Blanco also stressed the need to create even more business-friendly conditions. "There is still work to be done, particularly in simplifying tax policies, which could be highly beneficial," she concluded.
