Cities need predictable conditions for development, and investments in the housing sector must ensure both housing affordability and climate resilience, Povilas Poderskis, Chancellor of the Ministry of Environment of Lithuania, said at a ministerial roundtable within the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13 in Baku.
According to Report, Poderskis also addressed the issue of cities affected by war, pointing to large-scale destruction in Ukrainian settlements.
He said that Irpin remains a symbol of resilience and reconstruction in Ukraine, adding that international support plays an important role in the country's recovery process.
