Kazakh yurt installed on Baku boulevard

A Kazakh yurt has been installed on the Seaside Boulevard of Baku, Report informs referring to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan.

The traditional dwelling of Kazakh nomads was installed as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan near the Baku Port.

From August 6 to August 31, 2022, the tourist information center “Welcome to KZ” will operate in the yurt and two exhibitions are planned, one of which will be permanent, and the second will change weekly.

On an ongoing basis, stands will be presented about the bright sights of Kazakhstan - the Shymbulak ski resort (Almaty), the Baikonur cosmodrome, the Kyran falconry center with a live falcon and the opportunity to participate in falconry in virtual reality, a shopping and entertainment center Esentai Mall in Almaty, tourist routes of Air Astana.

In turn, stands about the cities of Almaty and Shymkent will be changed weekly. Almaty, Turkestan and Mangystau regions will present their tourism potential, cultural, concert and entertainment programs will be held.
