Jeyhun Bayramov: Provocation called 'election' is another blow against efforts of dialogue with representatives of Armenian residents

The September 9 provocations of the so-called regime, created as a result of the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia, under the name of "elections" are another blow against the efforts of dialogue with the representatives of the Armenian residents, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a briefing for foreign media at the Association of Correspondents Accredited to the UN (ACANU), Report informs.

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted that in return for the constructive position and steps taken by Azerbaijan, the Armenian side commits continuous military and political provocations, behaves against our sovereignty and territorial integrity in violation of its obligations, continues mine threats, and carries out a smear campaign against Azerbaijan with baseless claims.

Also, it was emphasized that the congratulations by the Prime Minister of Armenia to the so-called regime on September 2 is proof of the ongoing claims against Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
