Jeyhun Bayramov: Armenia's separatist, provocative actions cannot be deemed as humanitarian issue

Armenia's separatist, provocative actions cannot be deemed as a humanitarian issue, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told a joint press conference with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib, Report informs.

The minister said that the point of view of his Belgian counterpart was right:

“Hadja Lahbib also recommended that we should look to the future and not the past. She said that Belgium will hold the presidency of the European Union in January next year. I wish this presidency to be successful. Our desire and expectation is that we will not witness double standards against our country in the coming years. We know how sensitive some European countries are to separatism and how they make important decisions. We would like them to understand the essence of the step before giving an opinion on the work carried out by Azerbaijan. Armenia's separatist, provocative steps cannot be easily deemed as a humanitarian issue.”
