Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan holds reception to mark 77th anniversary of independence

The Embassy of Israel in Azerbaijan held a reception to mark the 77th anniversary of Israel's independence.

According to Report, the event was attended by high-ranking officials, government representatives, diplomats, businesspeople, and members of the Jewish community.

Ambassador George Deek spoke about Israel's journey from survival to sovereignty and the strong friendship with Azerbaijan, built on a shared vision of peace and progress, as well as mutual respect.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov addressed the guests, emphasizing the strong economic cooperation between the two countries and the common values underpinning their bilateral relations.

A string quartet and renowned Azerbaijani musician Farid Aliyev performed at the reception. Guests also had the opportunity to sample dishes from Israeli cuisine.
