Baku. 26 October. REPORT.AZ/ "At present there is a crisis of confidence among the peoples of different countries and the world," ISESCO Director-General Abdulaziz bin Omar al-Tuveycri said.

Report informs that he was speaking at the session titled "Baku Process - Intercultural Dialogue for Human Security, Peace and Sustainable Development: Lessons and Perspectives for 10 Years".

According to him, there is a great need for the preservation of cultural values among people in order to adopt diversity.

Director General noted that it is necessary to find ways to avoid cultural crises. "The 10th anniversary of the Baku process should contribute to the establishment of a new world order, We should be public criers of peace, human brotherhood, and provide secure life for human beings and humanity, and work for peace, brotherhood and welfare. So we intend to strengthen intercultural dialogue. "

Former UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova said that nowadays the questions facing everyone are the same: "We all think about the works and steps to organize the intercultural dialogue properly. We know that the mutual relations create the basis to form different communities. Therefore disruption cases always existed. Challenges are mostly related to the inequality, lack of peace, people suffering from migration. The forum brings these issues into the global agenda and leads to find solutions through discussions. "

He also emphasized that intercultural dialogue cannot be viewed separately from human development: "Illiteracy on various cultures is a major obstacle. It is necessary to achieve peaceful settlement of political conflicts and solving existing problems."
