ISESCO regional office to open in Baku

The regional office of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) will open in Baku, ISESCO Director General Salim Mohammed AlMalik told reporters in Shusha, Report informs.

The opening of a regional office in Azerbaijan will initially be in Baku, AlMalik said.

The director-general noted that he had previously visited the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and was able to see how everything is changing with the start of active construction of roads, the creation of airports and other infrastructure facilities.

The issue of opening an ISESCO office in Azerbaijan was discussed at a meeting of the organization’s director-general with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
