Ilham Aliyev calls Volodymyr Zelensky

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has held a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Report informs, citing the press service of the Azerbaijani president.

President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Ukrainian head of state on his birthday and wished him success in his activities and good health.

Expressing gratitude to his Azerbaijani counterpart for the congratulations and kind words, Volodymyr Zelensky said he recalled with satisfaction the recent visit of President Ilham Aliyev to his country. The Azerbaijani leader thanked his Ukrainian counterpart for the hospitality shown during the visit.

During the telephone conversation, the sides also exchanged views on future bilateral relations.
