Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan-Georgia relations based on long history

"Mr. Prime Minister, welcome to Azerbaijan. I am delighted to see you. I am sure the visit will be very successful, and we will strengthen our brotherly relations. Relations between our peoples are based on the long history, centuries of history of good neighborhood and friendship," President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on May 5, Report informs.

"I think it is an excellent basis for our current relationship development, which demonstrates a very big dynamic. It covers many areas. I am happy that you are visiting us. I wish you good health. I know that you recently have had the coronavirus. I am very glad that you are totally recovered. That was the reason for a bit of bit delay in your visit to Azerbaijan.
