Global South NGO Platform established in Baku

The Global South NGO Platform has been established in Baku, the representative of the National Forum of NGOs of Azerbaijan, Ramil Isgandarli, said at the founding conference.

Report quotes him as saying the idea of creating the platform for NGOs was implemented during the COP29 climate conference held in Baku last November. According to him, the new platform will become a global movement that unites people fighting for equality.

"It is time to create the Global South NGO Platform. Our goal is to bring our voice to the world community. Together, we can make our world more just," he said.
