The events similar to the Global Baku Forum are very important for analyzing international cooperation and opportunities to create international and transnational synergies, Italy's political scientist Domenico Letizia told Report.
"Europe must know Azerbaijan's virtuous model in developing international relations. The country has become a country of dialogue and thanks to national institutions there is always an attempt to understand the different points of view and bring together distant geopolitical realities, bringing out points of encounter rather than points of conflict and bringing out opportunities to develop a international cooperation in various sectors," the expert said.
Noting that one of the main themes of the Baku Forum is the problem of energy security, Leticia said that energy is a global issue and Azerbaijan has helped Italy and Europe in times of energy difficulty.
"Azerbaijan's model of a continuous and fruitful dialogue with Europe deserves to be valued. Thanks to TAP and Azerbaijan, Italy has become an energy hub for the whole of Europe," he said.
Azerbaijan's multiculturalism is a subject of study in many European universities, he said.
The expert noted that Azerbaijan is a Muslim country where Jews, Christians and ethnic minorities live in peace and harmony is a virtuous example for the whole world.
He said that on the border there is Iran where human rights are violated and Armenia which conducts the policy of ethnic cleansing and is trying to use the West, using religion as a means of political blackmail.
"In this geographical context we have Azerbaijan which has made religious dialogue the state policy. These considerations must help to understand the importance of the Azerbaijan model," he said.
