Envoy: “Azerbaijani FM expected to attend OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting”

The 48th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held on March 22-23 in Islamabad, Pakistan, Islamabad’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee told reporters.

"The Azerbaijani foreign minister is expected to attend the meeting," the ambassador said.

The topic of the event will be "Partnership for Unity, Justice and Development". During the meeting, the foreign ministers of the OIC member states will discuss the fight against Islamophobia and corruption, as well as the situation in Afghanistan, he said.
