Dominican Republic appoints new ambassador to Azerbaijan

The Dominican Republic has appointed a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov has received new Dominican Ambassador to Azerbaijan Elvis Antonio Alam Lora.

The diplomat presented copies of his credentials to Mammadov. The deputy minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his activities.

It was noted that Azerbaijan and the Dominican Republic have potential for expanding relations in many areas, in particular, in the field of tourism, humanitarian and educational fields.
