Deputy Minister: Azerbaijan contributes to effective implementation of UNESCO's mandate

Today, Azerbaijan makes a valuable contribution to the effective implementation of UNESCO's mandate as a member of the Executive Council, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov said at the 42nd General Conference of UNESCO, Report informs.

"We also serve on the Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict - a committee that is extremely important to us as we have long suffered from armed aggression and occupation," he noted.
