Cvijanovic: Proud to be the first BiH leader to sign strategic partnership agreement with Azerbaijan

Bosnia and Herzegovina is working diligently to implement projects with Azerbaijan as soon as possible, Chair of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željka Cvijanović, in an interview with Report.

"Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan already have very good friendly relations. We have many opportunities in terms of the economy where we can expand our cooperation. This is something I have also discussed several times with President Ilham Aliyev, and we are working hard to turn our ideas into viable projects, and this is what should happen," she said.

The Chair of the Presidency expressed pride in being the first leader of Bosnia and Herzegovina to sign a strategic partnership agreement with Azerbaijan.

"It was when President Ilham Aliyev and I were in Sarajevo, and it was a very good occasion, and I think it's a very good foundation for us to think about what we can do together in terms of infrastructure, what we can do together in terms of the energy sector. We would very much like Azerbaijani companies to operate in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we would like to see more joint projects," she added.
