Colomina: NATO supports process of normalizing Baku-Yerevan relations

NATO supports the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, special representative of the alliance in the South Caucasus, Javier Colomina, told the Armenian media, Report informs.
“We also support the bilateral format of negotiations. In the end, the two countries must decide how they will move forward, so we will support whatever ultimately leads to peace. We believe that the principles underlying the process are respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity are fundamental,” he said.
Colomina noted that NATO doesn’t take a position between partners unless there is a violation of the principles and basic elements of the UN Charter.
