Charles Michel: Modern world needs platform for dialogue

The modern world, facing global challenges, needs a platform for open dialogue and joint decision-making, former President of the European Council Charles Michel said on the sidelines of the XII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

He noted that the current principles and international rules are under pressure, which makes the search for constructive solutions particularly important.

"It is extremely important that we have the opportunity to listen, discuss problems and find the best ways to make decisions. This also provides an opportunity to determine priorities, to better understand each other - our history, cultural realities and traditions. I sincerely believe that international relations require wisdom, greater political will and public attention. And this is the challenge," Charles Michel added.
