Everything possible must be done to ensure peace is established in the South Caucasus as soon as possible, Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejcinovic Buric said at a meeting with Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan, Report informs referring to Armenpress.
There is no alternative to peace, and everything possible must be done to ensure that it is established as soon as possible and so that it is long-lasting, said the CE secretary-general.
Marija Pejcinovic Buric is on a visit to Armenia. She met with a number of officials from this country, including Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
