Bonaire representatives to address world about fight against colonialism

The guests from Bonaire Island will address the world on August 22 at an event held in the framework of the fight against colonialism together with the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), BIG's Executive Director Abbas Abbasov told journalists, Report informs.

“Another event of BIG will be held on August 22. In October of this year, the island of Bonaire will submit a draft resolution to the UN. Their representatives in Baku applied to hold a conference together with BIG, and tomorrow we will hold an event for the people of Bonaire, who suffered from the colonialism of the Netherlands. At this event, they will address the world before the said draft resolution is submitted to the UN,” Abbasov said.
